Flowers and messages of tribute to footballer Diogo Jota continue to be laid at Anfield stadium today after if was announced that the Liverpool FC player had died in a car accident. The LFC forward, 28, is said to have been travelling with his brother, Andre Silva, in the Zamora region of Sanabria, Spain when the tragedy occurred.

Shocked and grief-stricken Liverpool fans have flocked to the home of the Reds to lay flowers outside Anfield for their fallen hero Diogo Jota. A steady stream of hundreds of supporters passed the Liverpool flag, lowered to half-mast outside the famous old stadium, before making their way to an impromptu shrine outside the Main Stand.
