Federal investigators were working Tuesday to find out what led a pair of private jets to collide on a runway at a small airport in Scottsdale, Arizona, killing one person and injuring several others.

A Learjet crashed into a larger parked plane, officials said. The Learjet belonged to Vince Neil, the Mötley Crüe singer, who was not on board.

The person died after two midsize business jets collided on the ground at the airport. A lawyer for rocker Vince Neil said one of the planes is his, but that the singer was not on board.
