Tuesday marked the official start of NHL free agency. The Boston Bruins made several moves as they hope to improve from a disappointing 2024-25 season. The Bruins missed the postseason last year and ended up with the No. 7 pick in the NHL Draft. Boston used that pick to select center James Hagens out of Boston College.

Boston signed Michael Eyssimont to a two-year deal with a $1.45 million AAV, according to Anthony DiMarco of Daily Faceoff. The 28-year-old has played with the Winnipeg Jets, San Jose Sharks, Tampa Bay Lightning, and most recently Seattle Kraken.

The Boston Bruins signed nine players on day one of NHL free agency. The biggest signings were Tanner Jeannot, Jordan Harris, and Sean Kuraly.
