On Monday, the WNBA announced its plans to add three more expansion teams by 2030. Indiana guard Sophie Cunningham raised her concerns during the shootaround before the Fever's 74-59 victory over the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA Commissioner's Cup final.

The city of Detroit had a WNBA team — three-time WNBA champion Detroit Shock —from 1998-2009 before they moved to Oklahoma until 2015. After six seasons, the franchise moved again — this time to Dallas. The City of Detroit’s official X account fired back at Cunningham’s comments.

While that is great news for the three cities picked, Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham didn't seem all that impressed by the selection and threw some shade at Cleveland and Detroit, calling them cities that not many players would be excited to call home.
