Dan Muse confirmed the status of the veteran Penguins star ahead of Tuesday’s clash. The Pittsburgh Penguins are monitoring Kris Letang’s status after the veteran defenseman missed Sunday’s practice with a lower-body injury suffered during Saturday’s loss to the New York Rangers.
Dubas very politely nudged Sullivan from his head coaching perch because he believed his team needed new life and because Sullivan was never overly interested in a rebuild. The split hurt Sullivan and wasn’t an easy time for the prideful coach whose loyalty to the organization and especially to Crosby runs deep.
