Riley Greene hit a pair of three-run homers and matched a career high with six RBIs, leading the Detroit Tigers over the Washington Nationals 11-2 in the first game of a day-night doubleheader.

Greene, after enjoying the most productive month of his career in June, christened July with a pair of three-run homers in the Tigers' 11-2 victory.

Greene opened the scoring with a three-run blast in the first inning off Nationals starter Trevor Williams for his 20th homer of the season. Later in the inning, Jake Rogers followed with his first home run of the year -- and his first since Aug. 27, 2024.
