The Denver Broncos completed one of the most epic NFL comebacks of all time this past weekend, however, despite the fact that Sean Payton and his own quarterback were able to come out victorious the legendary head coach was very quick to praise the signal caller on the opposite sideline.
After the game, Payton reflected on his own tenure as a Giants assistant from 1999 to 2002 and said he told Giants owner John Mara that he wished the Giants hadn’t replaced Wilson with Dart as their starting quarterback until after playing the Broncos.
