Love Is Blind star Taylor Haag shut down claims that she fabricated the story about her fiancé, Daniel Hastings, following her on Instagram before filming to deflect from the fact that she didn’t find him attractive.

Daniel and Taylor immediately hit it off in the opening episode of "Love Is Blind" season eight. But Taylor soon becomes suspicious of Daniel.

He read Taylor a romantic letter that described his feelings, saying, “All I want to do is make you feel safe and make you happy for the rest of your life.” Taylor gladly accepted the proposal and the couple prepared to meet face-to-face for the first time.

Taylor shared some concerns about the possibility, but nothing further was revealed or confirmed either way in the episode. Since the show started airing, Taylor has opened up about her side of the situation in an interview with Glamour magazine. Taylor shared: "The primary concern was that he knew what I looked like during the experiment.

Valentine’s Day 2025 was also the five-year anniversary of the first season of the popular Netflix reality series. Season 8 is set in Minnesota and was filmed in March 2024. The first six episodes of Love Is Blind are streaming on Netflix. Episodes 7-9 will be available on February 21, and episodes 10-11 will debut on February 28.
