President Trump’s frustration with media coverage of the war on Iran boiled over Thursday when he alleged that reporting from The New York Times was “seditious” and called CNN “stupid” and “the enemy.

CNN is defending its reporting on a statement given by Iranian officials regarding a ceasefire agreement the U.S. and Iran reached just hours before President Trump was set to launch an attack on the Iran’s infrastructure.

It was not immediately clear to which report Trump was referring.

The news anchor explained why he won’t say the five-word message to the president.
