According to NBA insider Dave McMenamin of ESPN, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is undecided about playing next season. James turns 41 in December.

“The Los Angeles Lakers are signing center Drew Timme to a two-way NBA deal from their South Bay team, agents Deddrick Faison and Rich Gray tell ESPN,” wrote Charania. “Timme played for the Nets to finish last season and then joined Lakers’ G League, averaging 25.5 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists.”
The Los Angeles Lakers' court for the NBA Cup is a late scratch for Friday's game.
Friday night's game would be Davis' first time playing against the Lakers since they traded him to Dallas in exchange for Luka Doncic.
