Here is the problem. Our daughter-in-law will not let grandma pick up the new baby or hug him. It kills grandma. She wants to be grandma. Do we confront mom and try to be grandparents? We think mom has issues with her own mother that she projects on to our son’s mom. We do not know and do not understand.
