SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Following the massive hit from Hurricane Melissa, Cuba was next — following Jamaica — to be hit with historic winds and severe flooding. WTOC spoke with Savannah local Layanet Acevedo ahead of Tuesday’s storm. She says her family, who still lives in Cuba, was not prepared for what came through.
