Apple unveiled its top-of-the-line iPad with an updated M5 chip. However, there's much more that makes it a good upgrade for anyone looking for a new tablet.
The M5 iPad Pro comes equipped with Apple’s new N1 wireless chip. N1 first debuted in the iPhone 17 line, and now it’s part of the high-end iPad Pro. Wi-Fi 7 support is enabled by N1, while the M4 iPad Pro was limited to Wi-Fi 6E. N1 also features Bluetooth 6 (up from 5.3) and Thread support.
The next iPad Pro models are rumored to feature two key upgrades, including Apple's M5 chip, and an increased minimum of 12GB of RAM.
The iPad Pro with M5 and that same beautiful OLED display should make its way to consumers soon.
