The Boston Bruins (3-0-0) close out a three-game homestand looking to maintain their hot start when they host the winless Tampa Bay Lightning (0-2-0)
The Tampa Bay Lightning take on the Boston Bruins at the TD Garden today. Here are the projected/expected lineups.
The Bruins defenseman won’t play in Monday’s matinee against the Tampa Bay Lightning, but could return during Boston’s three-game trip against the Vegas Golden Knights, Colorado Avalanche and the Utah Mamouth. Coach Marco Sturm said the plan is for Lindholm to travel with the team.
Boston passed its first Atlantic Division test in a 3-1 victory Saturday over the Buffalo Sabres. Pavel Zacha, Mark Kastelic and Sean Kuraly each scored a goal and the Bruins received strong goaltending from Jeremy Swayman (21 saves), while going 4-for-4 on the penalty kill.
The B’s are riding a three-game win streak after beating the Buffalo Sabres, 3-1, on Saturday. Monday’s contest will be a preview of the 2026 Navy Federal Credit Union Stadium Series, in which the Bruins will play the Lightning at Raymond James Stadium on Feb. 1.
Both on and off the ice, it became clear this preseason that the NHL is where the 2020 second-round pick belongs.
Johansson will make his 2025-26 season debut before starter Andrei Vasilevskiy gets the nod for the second game of the Bolts' back-to-back against the Bruins on the road Tuesday. In 2025-26, the 30-year-old Johansson saw action in 19 regular-season games but could see his workload diminish if the team keeps waiver claim Pheonix Copley on the roster.
Jordan Harris, who made his Bruins debut, got the primary assist on the play, marking his first point with the organization. The Haverhill, Mass, native skated on the second pair with Andrew Peeke and finished with an assist, block and two hits through 16:25 of ice time.
