Showers and thunderstorms are expected on the Cape Sunday night, but sunny days and summery temperatures are predicted to follow, according to the National Weather Service.

Storms linger into Sunday morning and will begin to taper off by mid day, temps cooling a bit into the 70's.

"At 4:34 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over Hillsborough, moving east at 35 mph," says the NWS.

Saturday night, the Scottish national team played in a World Cup match for the first time in 28 years.
