Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert is reportedly trending toward playing Monday against the Philadelphia Eagles just days after undergoing hand surgery.

But Josh Allen is a lesser-known Herbert comparison who just came up as a talking point for the Chargers quarterback because of his past battle with certain types of injuries, too. While chatting about the comeback attempt for Herbert, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport pointed out that other quarterbacks around the NFL have played after similar surgeries.
