After September’s deadly school shooting in Georgia, a call goes out for greater gun control
A Georgia Democratic lawmaker is pushing for stricter gun safety laws to stem a tide of violence like the mass shooting last September at a high school northeast of Atlanta.
‘They could’ve done more:’ Apalachee High School students push for increased safety measures
“I feel like they could’ve done more,” said junior Maurice Rivera Guzman about why he decided to walk out of class with hundreds of others at Apalachee High School on Tuesday. It was the same walk many of them made in September, that time fleeing a school shooter who killed two of their peers and two teachers.
