Chappell Roan has earned her second U.K. No. 1 hit with "The Subway," which debuted atop the Official Singles Chart on Friday (Aug. 8).

Chappell Roan’s latest track, The Subway, has soared to number one on the UK singles chart, the Official Charts Company said. This is the second time the US pop singer, 27, has topped the UK chart after her sleeper hit, Pink Pony Club, reached the summit in March, around the same time she released her song, The Giver, which peaked at number two.

Grammy winner Chappell Roan shared that fans may have to wait years until she releases a follow-up to "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess."
