On MLB insider Daniel Alvarez reported that the Red Sox are signing infielder Abraham Toro to a minor-league deal. Toro, 28, was a fifth-round pick of the Houston Astros in the 2015 MLB draft out of Seminole State College. He debuted with the club in 2019 and was traded to the Seattle Mariners in 2021.
