The Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks will tip off Amazon's new NBA on Prime coverage Friday night with a rematch at Madison Square Garden.
Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET from Madison Square Garden in New York City, where the Knicks went 27-14 last season. New York is a 3.5-point favorite in the latest Celtics vs. Knicks odds, while the over/under for total points scored is 229.
Prime has done its part by landing top-tier announcers. Ian Eagle and Kevin Harlan are two of the most recognizable voices in both basketball and football. They take lead play-by-play assignments, along with Eric Collins (the Hornets guy who’s always yelling) and Michael Grady (splitting between Prime and NBC).
Jaylen Brown did not hold back when asked about the arrests of Terry Rozier and Chauncey Billups and the current gambling climate surrounding the NBA.
The Boston Celtics have been connected to a big trade with an Eastern Conference foe that would fill a major need.
