Rutgers stopped bleeding by beating Purdue. Will it spark another late-season run? | Rutgers Rant
Rutgers got back on track against the Boilermakers. The Scarlet Knights (4-4, 1-4) snapped a four-game losing streak with a crucial 27-24 victory over Purdue on Saturday, riding a breakout performance from budding star receiver KJ Duff, clutch field goals from Jai Patel and an improved defense to earn their first Big Ten win of the year.

Scarlet Knights kicker Jai Patel was named the Big Ten co-special teams player of the week alongside Nebraska kick returner Kenneth Williams, the league announced Monday. Patel hit the game-tying and game-winning field goals in the final 66 seconds of a 27-24 victory over the Boilermakers in West Lafayette.
