Officers responded to the 4100 block of Hyden Court just after 10:26 a.m. following reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a 42-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medics rushed him to a nearby hospital, but he was later pronounced dead.
Baltimore police shot and killed an aggressive dog that repeatedly bit its 33-year-old owner on St. Paul Street. The owner was hospitalized with leg wound.

Officials: Adult killed, child injured in double shooting on Reisterstown Road Saturday night
One man has died, and a child is injured after a double shooting in North Baltimore, according to Baltimore police.Deputy Police Commissioner Kevin Jones said a ShotSpotter alert brought officers to the 3200 block of Reisterstown Road in North Baltimore Saturday evening.
Timothy Shearn was taken into custody without incident on October 12 in the 1800 block of West Franklin Street. He is charged with the September 9 killing of 26-year-old Deonaye Johnson, who was gunned down in the 1000 block of North Arlington Avenue.
