The third annual Big Butte Brewfest will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at the historic World Museum of Mining, 155 Museum Way.

The McCallister Fire continues to burn three miles north of Ennis Lake, having already scorched more than 3,500 acres. Firefighters have managed to contain approximately 50% of the blaze.
