Efton Chism III will not practice for the Patriots on Monday, two days after the undrafted receiver was the star of New England's preseason win over the Vikings in Minnesota.

Undrafted rookie Efton Chism is making a strong push for a roster spot with the New England Patriots after standout preseason performances, drawing comparisons to past slot legends.

In similar fashion to Week 1, rookies TreVeyon Henderson and Efton Chism III found the end zone to power the Patriots offense. New England’s defense then limited Minnesota to four field goal attempts and held strong on the Vikings’ final two-minute drive — including a Kyle Dugger interception in the end zone on the final play from scrimmage.
