Chiefs, Raiders and Rashee Rice

The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 31-0 on Sunday in a Week 7 showdown between AFC West rivals. It marked the season debut of third-year wide receiver Rashee Rice. He wrapped up a six-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy after involvement in a high-speed chrash in March of 2024.
Rice was trending toward being a dynamic option for the Chiefs—and fantasy players—in his first two seasons, with 103 catches for 1,226 yards and nine touchdowns in 20 games. He was excellent in four games last year before injury cut his season short, with 24 catches for 288 yards and two scores.
Without Rice in the lineup, Kansas City ranks eighth overall in passing yards per game this season while posting a 3-3 record. After losing their first two games, the Chiefs are only one random game-winning Trevor Lawrence scramble from a 4-0 run, and Rice's return should only bolster their chances in a decimated AFC.
