Nuno Espirito Santo has warned West Ham that they are "going to have problems" this season after their 2-0 defeat to Brentford.
Nuno Espirito Santo announced academy coaches Mark Robson, Steve Potts, Gerard Prenderville, and Billy Lepine as permanent members of his backroom team over the international break, and he has now added Barbosa, whom he has worked with at Nottingham Forest, Al-Ittihad, Tottenham, Wolves, Porto, and Rio Ave.
Nuno confirmed that Konstantinos Mavropanos is out with injury. The defender will have a scan to "see the real injury that he has", but the Forest boss was unable give a timeframe for his return.
West Ham lost for the fourth home match in a row in the Premier League on Monday, with late goals in both halves giving Brentford a 2-0 win that could have been much bigger had the visitors taken more of their chances.
