U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday dismissed an effort by some Israeli lawmakers to push forward with annexation of the occupied West Bank, saying Israel is "not going to do anything with the West Bank.
Two Palestinians were wounded in clashes with Israeli settlers in the village of Al-Maniya, near Bethlehem. No arrests were made in any of the incidents.
Israel's Knesset, in a preliminary vote, approved sovereignty in the West Bank, described as a political ploy by right-wing opposition during JD Vance's visit.
