The Dodgers announced the news Thursday, with manager Dave Roberts saying that the team is "going day to day with no expectations" on Vesia's availability.

The team announced that Vesia and his wife are dealing with “a deeply personal family matter.” Vesia’s wife, Kayla, has been pregnant. The team is unsure if or when he could be available.
