The Federal Government initiative aims to help Australia and international audiences to better understand and support communities that were impacted in the 2019-20 bushfire season. 🔥 Five years since the fires. The 2019–20 bushfires devastated Australia’s forests and wildlife. Nearly 3 billion animals were impacted. Entire ecosystems were pushed to the brink. In response, we launched the Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund (AWNRF), and you showed up to throw nature a lifeline. 💚 Thanks to your support, we raised $51 million and backed 254 projects to help nature heal.
