Looking at radar we can see this newer area spinning and moving toward the NW. After seeing some other posts about it, this is likely a mid-level circulation. The low-level circulation is SW of that following the current NHC path. Usually in order to see more strengthening you need to have both mid-level and low-level circulations aligned and stacked with each other.
