Coastal flooding due to spring tides, surges and large waves is expected along the east coast, the Western Isles and parts of the Solway coast. Wave overtopping and sea spray may cause flooding to low lying land, properties and roads along the coastline. Highest risk is either side of high tide this evening and in the early hours of Monday.
