Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visited 'Ruins of Nalanda Mahavihara.' The UNESCO World Heritage site was one of the earliest residential learning centres in the World during 6-12th Cen. CE. Visit was led by Sh. Yaduvir Singh Rawat, Director General, ASI & Dr. Goutami Bhattacharya, Superintending Archaeologist, Patna Circle. ASI has been meticulously excavating and preserving the ancient remains of Nalanda Mahavihara for posterity for more than a century now. It was declared as a @unes
