This tiny primate has eyes that can’t move in their sockets, so its head does all the work! Tarsiers have some of the largest eyes of any mammal relative to body size, so big they are immobile in their skulls. To compensate, tarsiers have evolved an unusual neck and spine anatomy that lets them rotate their heads nearly 180 degrees in each direction, giving them an almost 360° field of view without moving their bodies.
