First responders from across the city were recognized this week at DMC Sinai Grace Hospital by the Detroit East Medical Control Authority (DEMCA) for their extraordinary dedication to saving lives and providing critical pre-hospital care. Among the most notable stories highlighted was that of a woman who suffered cardiac arrest while pregnant.
