Rise of Benito Mussolini

We’re currently auctioning Benito Mussolini’s own copy of The Cardinal’s Mistress, his first and only novel, in the first English edition. Written in 1909, before his rise to power, the book was later suppressed for its attack on Catholic hypocrisy. This copy survives in original black cloth with a rare unrestored, unclipped dust jacket.
